1.Planner Organizer
All artists need a planner organizer no matter how organized we are by nature. I’ve found that being more organized has led me to be more productive and successful as an artist. So I’m going to share all I know about planners and why you need one with you.
The right planner organizer is based on picking the right planner for your situation, personality and needs. From the past three decades as an artist, I have depended on planners and they have gotten better and better.
I know when I first started as an artist, I thought that using a planner organizer was more work than fun. But that’s because I didn’t know all I know today. And now you can benefit from what I’ve learned.
New planners have come out in the last few years that are more than boring grids. They help organize you in a way that organize your ideas, boost your productivity, help you reach your goals and beautify your life too!
So, for the best new year ever, let this guide help you find the most helpful planner organizer for you.
2.Planners for Women
As a woman and artist myself, I know I want more than just a generic planner, I want a planner with feminine appeal. So, I’m focusing here on the best planners for you women out there. Sorry guys!
The planners I’ve reviewed and listed here have all the right stuff to increase your organization and productivity, but they also have a feminine touch to lift you up, add beauty and put a smile on your face.
If you’re not using a planner already, you’ll want to add this to your list of New Year’s resolutions. I know I first turned to planners for women and have not looked back!
And you too will be amazed at how much your art will take off when you start using planners for women.
3. Planner perfect
I know when I was just starting out as an artist I thought planners were for people who liked busy work. I just wanted to paint!
But if you’re trying to improve your art, art studio, art skills or productivity, a planner is a must-have to reach those goals.
It’s ironic, but to pick a planner perfect for you, it will help to remember nothing’s perfect
I know you didn’t decide to become an artist to focus on a planner. But I’ve found, you pick the right one, your planner can be as creative as your artwork.
if you want to improve in any area of your art, a planner perfect or not, will make a world of difference!

4. Panda Planner
Want a Panda Planner like this? You can click here to buy one at Amazon.
You may have heard of the latest panda planner craze! I know I was super curious about what all the excitement was about.
I found that the panda planner lives up to the hype and may be the perfect planner for you.
The basic difference between the panda planner and your typical planner is that it is a combination of monthly, weekly and daily planners. I found it really helpful to have all these options in one place. I mean, we all have a mix of monthly, weekly and daily tasks, right?
But panda planner goes further than this. It gives you space to write your goals, your dreams or your ideas. In sum, it includes a journal too!
It also has a pocket for all the paint samples, photos and sketches which I know I personally like to collect!
My only beef with the panda planner is that it’s little pricey considering they cover only six months and not the expected year.
If you’re good with the price, and the need to buy two per calendar year, have many tasks at many different intervals and like the idea of journaling in the same place as your task lists, then panda planner is a good choice for you!
5. Happy Planner
You can buy a Happy Planner at Amazon by clicking here.
The happy planner (also known as a Happy 365 planner) is well-named! And couldn’t we all do with a little more happiness?
On first glance it looks like a standard grid planner, (monthly and weekly), but it’s so much more!
The colors and graphics are bold and vibrant or soft and beautiful, depending on the planner you choose (and there are a lot of styles!).
You can also use all sorts of art supplies, stickers, pens, pencils, tapes, and more to accent the planner and turn it into more of a creative journal or art sketchbook.
One other cool feature is that it has rings so that pages can be easily removed or added.
I for one think it’s such a nice change from the basic utilitarian planners I grew up with.
So if you love the idea of combining your monthly/weekly planner and art journal while being able to pick your personal style, then this may be the planner for you!
6. Block Planner
What exactly is time blocking? I know I wished I’d hear of this when I first started using planners.
Time blocking is the process of putting the items on your to-do list into general priorities then blocking out the time on your calendar to complete them. It puts you in charge of things that are a priority to you.
Here’s a pic of the block schedule I’m working out for next month.
I used to do everything in my basic planner and then hope there was time for painting.
A block planner prioritizes my tasks so I know exactly when my studio time is, plus all my other priorities. You are going to want a block planner if your priorities tend to fall by the wayside.
If you find everyone else’s priorities are getting accomplished instead of yours, a block planner may be the best choice for you!
You can get this block planner at Amazon by clicking here.
7. Planner Stickers
Before I wrap up my recommendations for your next planner, I want to tell you more about planner stickers and why you should consider them no matter what planner you use.
While each planner has specific pros and cons, they can only be so personalized. Planner stickers are ways to further personalize any planner you choose.
Planner stickers are available in many places and can be used planner with any planner.
There is such a huge variety of these planner stickers now, there’s no reason you can’t use them to improve any planner you decide to use.
